Bangladesh

The ATTI Bangladesh Chapter is led by the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) and the Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA). 

The ATTI Bangladesh Chapter is currently conducting the Stage One Needs Assessment, supported by the ATTI Global Council.

Leadership and Members

The ATTI Bangladesh Chapter comprises a President and Vice President, drawn from association leadership, and a Chair and members, drawn from association Directors.
 

The President of ATTI Bangladesh is Vidiya Khan, Vice President of BGMEA. The Vice President of ATTI Bangladesh is Shamim Ehsan, Vice President of BKMEA.
 

The ATTI Bangladesh Chair and members are drawn from association Directors. Kamran Sadique, Director of MBM Group, is ATTI Bangladesh Chair, and members include Rafia Anowar, Managing Director, Textown; Maisha Khan, Managing Director, Ananta Group; Mahir Ahmed, Managing Director, Apex Textiles; and Minhaz Hoque.
 

As a founding advisor to ATTI, Miran Ali, Managing Director, Bitopi Group and former BGMEA Vice President, sits on the ATTI Global Council alongside all Chapter Presidents.

ATTI Bangladesh Needs Assessment

AATTI Bangladesh appointed Engineering Resources International (ERI) and SusNex to support the Stage One Needs Assessment.

The comprehensive assessment includes desk research, key stakeholder interviews, a manufacturer survey, focus group discussions, and a findings workshop. Te findings are due to be published in October 2026, with solutions-focused workshops in November 2026.
