ATTI Pakistan was established in June 2026, in partnership with the Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PRGMEA).
PRGMEA is the premier trade organisation representing the Readymade Garment Industry in Pakistan, with a strong membership of over 500 companies.
PRGMEA at ATTI BII London Climate Action Week Event
The commitment to establish ATTI Pakistan was marked by the mutual signing of a Memorandum of Understanding during a London Climate Action Week event on Financing Transformation in the Global Apparel and Textile Sector, co-hosted by ATTI and British International Investment (BII), the UK’s development finance institution and impact investor.
With this commitment, Pakistan becomes the third country to join ATTI, alongside two ATTI pioneer countries, Bangladesh and Türkiye. One year on from ATTI's launch event, this marks a significant expansion of the initiative's reach across major garment and textile manufacturing hubs.
Next Steps for ATTI Pakistan
The two organisations will begin their work together work with an in-country kick-off meeting between key figures from PRGMEA and ATTI and other relevant stakeholders, supported by a scoping trip.
An Initiating Technical Committee will also be established to advise on the design and implementation of the National Chapter and Transformation Plan.
