Türkiye
The ATTI Türkiye Chapter is led by Turkish industry associations.
Together with the ATTI Global Council, the Chapter is currently developing a Transformation Plan that addresses energy use, water consumption, and wastewater treatment through sector-wide strategies, aiming to create lasting impact across Türkiye’s garment and textile industry
In 2025, the ATTI Global Council supported the ATTI Türkiye Chapter in developing a Prototype Transformation Plan.
The plan was created in response to the Stage One Needs Assessment and targets three key impact areas: energy, water consumption, and wastewater treatment.
It proposes interventions for facilities both inside and outside Organised Industrial Zones, which play a central role in Türkiye’s garment and textile industry. Facility-level actions are complemented by policy-level measures to ensure a broader, systemic impact.

Impact Area Strategies
In February 2026, ATTI and the Istanbul Apparel and Textile Exporters Association (IHKIB), which pioneered the ATTI Chapter in Türkiye, convened a workshop bringing together manufacturers, global brands, federations, and key stakeholders to review the Prototype Transformation Plan and align on an industry-wide approach for each impact area.

The outputs of this workshop are now being used to form the basis for individual impact area strategies, which will be shared in March 2026.
